Terms of Service

This is a courtesy translation. The Korean version is the legally binding text; if the two differ, the Korean prevails.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the saju reading and AI character conversation service (the “Service”) provided by Telling (the “Company”), together with the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

· “Service” means every function the Company provides, including saju chart calculation, base readings, in-depth interpretations, compatibility content, and conversations with AI characters.

· “Steps” means the virtual goods used within the Service to access paid content and features such as in-depth interpretations.

· “Reading” means the base saju interpretation provided from the birth details you enter.

· “In-depth interpretation” means the more detailed saju analysis you can open using steps.

· “User” means a member who has agreed to these Terms and uses the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment of these Terms)

These Terms take effect when posted on a Service screen or otherwise announced.

The Company may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable law, and will announce any amendment in advance with its effective date and reason. A user who does not accept an amendment may stop using the Service and withdraw.

Article 4 (Accounts and sign-up)

You sign up and use the Service through Apple, Google, Kakao, or LINE social login, a mobile number, or an email address and password. The available methods are shown on screen and may differ by region and by how the Service is configured.

The Service is for users aged 14 and over; anyone under 14 cannot sign up.

You are responsible for keeping the information you provided current. The Company is not liable for disadvantages arising from inaccurate information.

Article 5 (Steps and paid services)

Steps are virtual goods used for paid content and features within the Service, such as in-depth interpretations, premium conversations, and supporting a character.

Steps are topped up through in-service payment (domestic card and mobile payment in Korea; Stripe for overseas payment) or through app store billing. Bonus steps granted with a top-up, and steps the Company grants free of charge, are free goods for which no payment was made.

Refunds of paid steps and reading passes follow the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, other applicable law, and the Company's Refund Policy. Unused steps and passes whose result has not been opened are refunded in full within 7 days of payment; steps already spent and passes whose result has been generated are not refundable. See the Refund Policy page for the procedure.

If the Company terminates the Service, it will announce this before the closing date and will refund unused steps or take equivalent measures.

Article 6 (Nature of the content and disclaimer)

The saju readings, fortunes, compatibility content, and conversations with AI characters are provided for culture, entertainment, and reference. They do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment, legal judgment, investment or financial advice, or professional psychotherapy.

The characters' replies are generated automatically by artificial intelligence (an external AI model) and may be inaccurate or differ from fact.

You must not treat this content as the sole basis for important decisions about health, law, finance, or mental health, and should consult a professional in the relevant field where needed.

Article 7 (Prohibited conduct)

You must not do any of the following.

· Impersonate a real person, or create or distribute content that sexualises minors

· Create or post content that encourages illegal acts, or that hates or harasses others

· Register characters or content that infringe another person's copyright, likeness rights, or other intellectual property

· Use improper methods that interfere with the normal operation of the Service, such as automated programs or obtaining steps by illegitimate means

· Act in any way prohibited by applicable law or these Terms, or contrary to public order and morals

The Company may limit content visibility, restrict use of the Service, or suspend the account of a user who engages in prohibited conduct.

Article 8 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)

The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service where operationally or technically necessary, and will give notice within the Service beforehand.

The Company is released from responsibility where it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure, such as a natural disaster or system failure.

Article 9 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

The laws of the Republic of Korea govern the interpretation of these Terms and any dispute between the Company and a user. Where a dispute arises, it may be brought before the competent court under the procedures set by applicable law.
